Dr. Cohen was fantastic with my son, he had multiple issues with his tonsils while away at college. He was misdiagnosed and not medically treated properly. We came in for a consultation while home for break and landed in the right place. When the semester was over he had surgery and his health has been fantastic ever since. Best decision we ever made.

I went to see Dr Cohen for a severe bout of vertigo. Tom at the front desk in Syosset helped get me in as soon as possible and made the process easy and stress-free. Dr Cohen spent a lot of time with me reviewing my whole history of symptoms and actually LISTENING to me which was a breath of fresh air. I was able to see the audiologist the same day who was able to perform the Epley Maneuver and I came out feeling great. My whole family is seeing Dr Cohen, Lindsey, and Jordyn now. P.S. Dr Cohen is terrific. I went to him 3 weeks ago for TENNITIS after seeing another ENT who told me that there was no cure or treatment and that’s it. Dr Cohen gave me a regimen to follow and gave me hope. With his very personal and kind manner he greatly lessened my fear of the condition and also my anxiety. Also his staff is terrific. Yesterday my ear was painful and they got me in the same day, gave me a complete ear examination, found an inflammation, and gave me a prescription for it. Kudos to Dr Cohen and his staff.

It’s a refreshing feeling when you walk into a doctor and he actually listens to what you have to say. Dr. Cohen is that type of doctor, I could not be happier with the level of care I received and the amount of time that he took listening and diagnosing my issues. If this place were a restaurant, I’d tell you to make a reservation right now—- But it’s not so I guess when you can’t breathe call the office and go there. A solid office they fit me right in on an emergency during a busy week during a season where everyone’s sick and really took care of me.

Dr Cohen himself is great. Jordan his PA also great. I can breathe so much better after turbinate reduction and rhinaire procedure. Just beware of whoever answers the phones.. but Dr. Cohen was very nice to me while I was having a bad reaction to Ativan before my surgery. It made me really dizzy. They got me in a chair and made me comfortable. We listed to Billy Joel and got it done and over with! He deserves more than the rating he is getting on here. Someone complained about him being cocky but he knows his stuff and maybe came across over confident? Not sure- but I thought his team was great (minus his appointment setters).

Doctor Cohen performed by nose surgery to clear out the inside of my nose. Dr. Cohen is wonderful and he did an excellent job. More importantly he strongly informed me that the post-op touch ups are crucial for long term good results. His Nurse was Excellent and made a somewhat painful process very much better. They knew what they were doing and they are sure of themselves and how they would help me. I am very happy with the results as I can now breathe much better! Dr. Cohen promises even better results as the swelling goes down. I am not going to Lie, surgery is painful, but being able to breathe well makes it worth it and he made my life better! You have to understand that doctors make very little money these days, sometimes all they make on your visit is your Co-Pay. Dr. Cohen never made me feel that way, and I thank him for all that he did for me. I am only sorry that I didn't find him twenty years ago, as other doctors were unable to find my condition.

I don’t normally write reviews but when I see a bunch of negative reviews than I do feel compelled to do so. So, I want to correct the record with his staff. They are very nice. 6 months ago I had taken a fall before I came into see Dr. Etra and Dr. Cohen’s staff bandaged me up and dropped everything to do so (which they didn’t have to). So please don’t attack his staff as they are nice. As far as Dr. Cohen goes please don’t attack him. He’s a very nice doctor and certainly not rude or condescending. He does know what he is talking about. I saw him when he first came into Dr. Etra, Dr. Etra and then Dr. Mollick’s practice and I have to say that he was very bright and I knew he was going to go places. He was always very kind to everyone and helped everyone. And by the way the Etra’s would not just have hired any random person. How would I know? I’ve been a patient of theirs my whole life. So I hope my review puts to rest any of the negative reviews out there. I’m a patient of the practice and see mainly Dr. Etra but I was a patient of his and thus felt compelled to write this.

I needed an urgent visit after blowing out my ear drum. I was in a lot of pain. I called this office as a new patient and immediately was greeted by a kind, friendly voice assuring me they would be able to help me and see me right away, her name was Colleen. She walked me through the whole process and assisted me with all the necessary paperwork. My visit was nurse practitioner ToniAnn Savage. She was wonderful! The exam was very thorough. I was on my way with all the necessary prescriptions and was feeling better in no time thanks to this fabulous ENT team!
